This course will focus on the development of Christian theology and doctrines from the period of the Protestant Reformation (sixteenth century) to the present. Emphasis shall be given to those doctrines that are of particular significance to the religious orientation of the student.

A detailed study of the biblical principles that form the basis of the practice of mission in cross-cultural situations today. An intensive study of the Scriptures themselves for the basis of the course. Writings from past and present missiologists are also studied. Always there are applications made regarding the practice of mission.
COURSE DESCRIPTION The mission of the church to “present everyone perfect in Christ” (Colossians 1:28) is the focus of this course. The characteristics, gifts, skills, and abilities necessary to guide others and self into spiritual maturity will be discussed. The student will be able to describe the various aspects of Christian discipleship. The student will be able to design an effective program for discipling and mentoring others. .
